- **Event Description**: I'm going to talk about music, games and events that have inspired past active shooters. This presentation is prevention based and is great for individuals, teachers, pastors and safety teams along with business owners. Learning what sets off an active shooter, what motivates them and their lifestyles is how we recognize a problem and mitigate it. I'll also discuss the developmental stages of an active shooter. 

I'll also discuss past attack locations and the TRUTH behind them. I'll discuss threat assessment teams, church and private business security along with of course situational awareness, threshold stimulus, and perceptual distortion. At the end we'll have a Town Hall style meeting and discuss your concerns. 

This information comes from my 22 year police career and a supervisor in the Major Case / Special Investigations Unit in the Daytona Beach, Fl area. It's also combined with 15 years of traveling the country interviewing 98 different victims, witnesses and law enforcement investigators of 18 mass casualty events. This is my job. This is what I do and I'm passing scholarly information to you letting you know and recognize that most attacks are preventable. Did you get that? Most attacks are preventable. I'll discuss why and how.
