Her pioneering scholarship on Alsatian-American composer René Louis Becker produced a six-volume series of critical editions of his music, a monograph, and three world-premiere recordings. Dr. Spritzer is Area Chair and Associate Professor of Organ at the University of Oklahoma and Artist-in-Residence for St. Matthew’s Episcopal Cathedral Arts in Dallas. She holds degrees from the University of North Texas, the Eastman School of Music, and Oberlin Conservatory.
