It's almost July 4th, and waterline season is here.  Folks are gearing up to go to the Klickitat on July 3rd, and it's going to be different from past years. 

 For one, a fire burned right down to the banks of the Klickitat last year, burning  the trees we've used in the past.  They are both down now, and unusable for slacklines.  There is also a lot of debris on the western bank of the river (right side, in picture) that would make another waterline and the traditional spaceline spot unusable.     The fire also went through the trees where we normally anchor the midlines.  I would be very wary about using them for anchors this year. 

With all that said, the park has had some upgrades, with picnic tables and a pit toilet!  The two longer lines are still in play, and the shorter, lower line in the SUP cove should still be good to go.

If people would like to stay over the weekend, please remember that there is no camping at the site of the lines.  The nearest camping is Turkey Hole (https://maps.app.goo.gl/AY4xRaRhWvmwVUFS7)
