- **Event Description**: Join Wildlife Trust staff and explore Luton's scenic parks and green spaces, meet new people and boost your well-being.About this EventA Walk in the Park is a programme of easily accessible walks for all ages running monthly in Luton (every first Wednesday of the month).A Walk in the Park provides an opportunity to:Boost your health and well-being whilst taking a short walk around a natural space and practice some mindfulness in nature.Explore green spaces in Luton.Meet like-minded people and make new friends.Learn about the natural world and opportunity to share your own knowledge or experiences.The aim of the programme is to encourage exploration of scenic parks and green spaces right on your doorstep, at the heart of Luton.The walks will be led by staff of Wildlife Trust Bedfordshire and volunteers.Join us for a refreshing walk through Luton’s beautiful People’s Park. Originally planned for September but postponed due to rain, we’re delighted to bring it back as the final walk in this year’s programme.All ages welcome!Please dress for the outdoors, including suitable footwear for soft paths.The accessibility at People's Park can be limited due to uneven/ steep paths. Please get in touch if you have any mobility concerns or questions about the walk.People's Park is a large park with several entrances. We'll meet at the green flag near the community orchard on the Havelock Road side of the Park for 2pm start. You'll find the flag post along the diagonal path across the park between Kingston Road and Havelock Road/corner of Clarendon Road.If using What Three Words website or App then please use the following location ///brass.served.kicked for the meeting point.There is a small car park off Havelock Road by the playground, but spaces tend to fill up. Kingston Road has free on-street parking, but again, spaces are limited.For enquires please contact Ieva on 07871 987381 or ieva.piraga@wildlifebcn.org*Please note, this is a free well-being walk. Please only reserve a place if you intend on joining the walk as these walks are very popular and there are limited spaces available.
