5th Luton Employability Day

Join us for an inspirational event designed to empower young people and help them choose pathways to success.

The Luton Employability Day is an excellent opportunity for young people, and their parents or carers, to connect with Black professional role models and exhibitor organisations from the public, private, and third sectors. Attendees will explore pathways to success, expand their knowledge, build networks, and gain fresh perspectives on future career possibilities.

• Young people aged 10–24 (under 16 yrs must be accompanied by a responsible adult)
• Parents and carers
• Organisations that support young people and want to showcase a range of career pathways and opportunities (bring your young people along!).

• Meet Professional Black Role Models

Connect with over 30 inspiring Black professionals and community leaders from diverse industries who can share their journeys and offer advice.

• Discover Pathways to Success – Exhibitors

Explore opportunities with employers and education providers. Have 1-to-1 conversations about career pathways, entry requirements, and what it’s like to work in their organisations and much more

• Interactive Themed Workshops

Gain insights into sectors such as finance, law, tech, creative industries, healthcare, and more, directly from professionals who’ve walked the path.

• Expert Panel

Learn practical tips and strategies to develop yourself and your network. Hear success stories that empower young people to believe in their potential and take bold steps toward their goals.

• Peer to peer networking

A great opportunity for parents/carers to connect, young people to inspire each other, and local organisations to collaborate and build relationships.
