Green Generation Zambia is pleased to announce a Carbon Stock Assessment Practical Field Session at Forest 27, following the official No Objection Letter granted by the Forest Department.
This practical session is designed to provide hands-on training in:
✔ Forest carbon stock measurement
✔ Tree diameter and height measurement techniques
✔ Plot establishment and sampling design
✔ Biomass estimation and carbon calculations
✔ Data collection aligned with IPCC and carbon market standards
✔ Introduction to MRV (Monitoring, Reporting & Verification)

Students enrolled in the Carbon Project Development Course
Environmental professionals
Forestry students
Climate change practitioners
Anyone interested in carbon markets and forest carbon assessment

Non-Enrolled Participants: K300 only

Safety boots or strong closed shoes
Reflective vest (if available)
Long trousers and long-sleeved shirt

Notebook and pen
Measuring tape (if you have one)
Diameter tape or caliper (if available)
GPS device or smartphone
Sunscreen (recommended)
