Luray Police Foundation 5k - 2026
Join us for the annual Luray Police Foundation 5K! đThis year's race will be held at 9:00 AM on May 16 at the Luray Greenway and falls at the end of National Police Week. National Police Week honors law enforcement officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice and recognizes those who continue to serve with dedication and courage. This 5K is our way of remembering, honoring, and supporting those officers and their families. đ

The Luray Police Department will be proudly introducing our two newest officers - K9 Summer and K9 Skye! Both K9s will be there to meet the community alongside their handlers, Officer Munson and Officer Vickers. Trained in narcotics detection and article searches, Summer and Skye are an incredible addition to our department. We canât wait for you to meet them. đž
Come out to run, walk, or bring a chair and cheer from the sidelines! We appreciate your support to our officers, our new K9s, and our foundation!
