- **Event Description**: Sean Fullerton presents his unique solo music program titled, “RIC 12:  The Guitar of Jangle Rock”.  This performance is dedicated to the Rickenbacker brand electric 12-String guitar, which quickly became the iconic guitar sound of the 1960’s Folk Rock movement.  The “RIC 12” was first introduced by The Beatles in the “A Hard Day’s Night” album in 1964, and popularized by The Byrds in 1965.  Since then, the “RIC 12” has been the central sound of countless radio hits to this day.  

My music program will be an hour long trip down memory lane.  I will briefly talk about the history of the 12 String guitar, and about the Rickenbacker Guitar Company, and will perform sing-a-long songs from The Beatles, The Byrds, The Beach Boys, The Who, The Animals, The Monkees, and more...with me singing and playing the “RIC 12” guitar, while supported by backing tracks I made myself.  A full band sound at a comfortable volume for everyone to enjoy.  I’ll also include informational ​a​nd humorous anecdotes throughout the performance about the history, sound, and visual beauty of the “RIC 12” to help expand on the entertainment experience for the intergenerational listener.  Audience participation is always welcome and encouraged.
