This Saturday, Local Discoveries is heading to Copenhagen for a magical Christmas getaway!🎄
We’ll be watching the breathtaking Lucia kayak parade 🚣♀️🕯️✨, as glowing, decorated kayaks drift through the canals, filling the city with music, light, and holiday spirit.
Our adventure continues with visits to two of Copenhagen’s most charming Christmas markets — Kongens Nytorv and Højbro Plads 🎁🌟 — where sparkling lights, cozy treats, and festive decorations create the perfect winter wonderland. ❄️🎅
To stay comfortable throughout the day, feel free to bring a blanket 🧣, dress warmly 🧥, and remember to bring your national ID or passport 🪪 for the border crossing.

1. We have planned a schedule for the event, so COME ON TIME! Respect the schedule at all times and the team leader's instructions.
2. You are responsible for buying your own transport tickets. Note: Skånetrafiken group tickets (from 2 people) are cheaper, so you can ask another participant to buy a ticket with you when you meet.
3. Social Hub Lund and the organizers of this event are not responsible for any injury that can/may occur during the above-specified date and time. Attendees are responsible for their own safety as well as their private belongings. You are solely responsible for your partition and discretion.
4. Children should only come if accompanied by their parents.
5. Check the weather in advance, and always bring a raincoat/extra warm layers.
6. Be polite and respectful to the other participants and the environment.
