ABOUT THE WEEKEND IMMERSION
Deep down we all long to feel connected: being met, seen & heard by one another beyond what separates us. Yet somehow we all struggle with it, in our awkward and sweet humaneness.
During this weekend we will explore what comes between us and prevents us from truly meeting: disconnection from oneself, strategies, projections, shadows, attachment trauma, suppressed boundaries and more.
Come curious to discover different ways to meet beyond what separates us, through embodiment exercises, mindful observation, sharing and reflection.
We will use techniques and tools inspired by circling, mindfulness, authentic relating, embodied intimacy, somatic experiencing, trauma theory and yoga.
All with the intention of connecting you with yourself and your body before you connect with others.
We will dive deeper inte the five themes from our connection circles, both meeting the curious new explorers where you’re at and giving our regular explorers a chance to revisit and deepen your experience:
- connection strategies
- expressing boundaries
- embodied boundaries
- seeing yourself in others
- coming back from disconnection
All human beings are welcome.
Every exercise is optional and you can bring a partner/friend to couple with if that makes you feel more at ease.
The event will be held in English.
WHAT PARTICIPANTS ARE SAYING:
”Beyond the awkwardness the whole universe opened up in the eyes right in front of me”. / Sandra, participant
“Thank you for a beautifully held connection circle yesterday. It felt huge to be a part of and witness the authentic connections that took place under your holding of the space.
For me, on my way of personal development, it is more than relevant to explore what we can discover about ourselves and our connections to others, through becoming aware of our bodies and what they tell us. That this can happen even without touch was one revelation from this evening.
I feel richer as a result from what I got to experience and I’m looking forward to the next circle”. / Mats, participant
Ida has a background as a Mindfulness instructor, health coach and massagetherapist as well as healing and energy work. She just completed the Embodied Intimacy Training and is deeply inspired by the community healing work she experienced there. Authenticity and inclusion are important elements in her work.
She loves to create safe spaces where we can be ourselves and meet each other from there. All circles are held with a trauma informed approach.
Gunther is very passionate about relating. After struggling with connecting to himself, and thus to others for long periods of his life, he discovered the value of embodiment practices to re-connect with his desires, fears and boundaries. Since he is feeling himself again relating went from being scary to being exciting.
When relating to others he is very curious, not only about the other person, but also about the field that is created when two or more people come together. Following his curiosity often leads him to amazing experiences in the moment, that he could have never planned for.
Besides his curiosity he brings presence, trauma-awareness and an acceptance of whatever is, which gives other people permission to be themselves.
