Every year, BCWF-affiliated clubs host Fishing Forever events across B.C. These annual events aim to make fishing accessible to people of all abilities, backgrounds, and ages.

Fishing Forever has been inspiring communities since 1989, when broadcast journalist Walt Liimatainen first proposed the idea. Since then, the dedicated clubs of the B.C. Wildlife Federation, along with volunteers and sponsors, have spent countless days outdoors, helping those who may need a little extra assistance to learn how to fish and enjoy nature.
