We’re proudly opening our doors for the day to host a charity cake sale, featuring a delicious selection of homemade bakes — lovingly made by our very own branch manager, Jenni, who’s not only a dedicated funeral professional but also a passionate baker!
This event is all about community, connection, and cake — and we’d love to see you there.
Why we’re hosting this event:
🍰 To support Overgate Hospice’s “Big Build” project
All proceeds will go directly to Overgate Hospice, helping to fund their plans for a brand-new facility that will expand and enhance end-of-life care in Calderdale for future generations.
☕ To welcome back families we've supported
We invite anyone we've helped in the past to pop in for a cuppa, a cake, and a chat. Our support doesn’t end with the funeral — we’re here whenever you need us.
👋 To connect with our local community
We love meeting new people and strengthening ties with those around us. Whether you’ve worked with us or not, please feel free to come by — everyone is welcome!
There will also be a donation box for anyone who’d like to support the cause but prefers not to eat cake (though we highly recommend it!).
