Arborist is the artistic moniker of Belfast-based musician Mark McCambridge. Across three critically acclaimed albums, Mark has honed a unique ambient-folk sound.

His third album 'An Endless Sequence of Dead Zeros’, recorded at Spacebomb Studios in Virginia, won the Northern Ireland Music Prize. 

His spine-tingling ballads and playful lyricism have attracted esteemed fans - Arborist has collaborated with Kim Deal (Pixies, The Breeders) and shared a bill with the likes of Public Service Broadcasting, James Yorkston and The Delines.

In 2025, he recorded the stunning track - ‘Are You Still The King?’ - for a ‘ghost of Elvis’-themed compilation album curated by Bill Drummond (The KLF). 

The Trades Club gig is a rare English date for Arborist, who is releasing a new album in 2026. The show will be a duo performance.

*AILSA TULLY* - support

Originally from Wales, Ailsa moved to Hebden Bridge last year, and has just released her debut album ‘Womb Room', earning her a glowing in-depth feature from The Line Of Best Fit. 

Ailsa blends dreamy bass lines with distinctive, tender vocals and pop synth, creating an ethereal world that is rooted in folk yet decorated with experimental subtleties.

She has performed on numerous prestigious line-ups, including Green Man festival, All Points East and EartH Hackney, to name just a few.
