ROCKSTOCK CUP EVENT
Preliminarily Warm Up to “Skippy Cup” event held at LDRS’s
TRA Altitude Contest – The Skippy Cup
The Skippy Cup: A Brief History:
The idea for this contest originated during LDRS 42 in Potter, NY in 2024. Recognizing the lack of formal TRA contests, Gerald Meux (“Skippy”), along with other members, proposed this competition.
The name “Skippy Cup” is a playful reference to Gerald’s nickname, inspired by his
fondness for Skippy peanut butter. This contest marks a significant event for the TRA Contest and Records Committee, reviving a tradition of friendly competition within the organization.
