Randy's Bio:
My mother named me Randall though Randy has been the given name.
Bachelors of Science in  Education from Ohio University.
Masters of Science in Agricultural Education from the Ohio State University.
Awarded the title of Colonel as a graduate of the Kansas City Missouri Auction School.
Worked as an Ohio State University 4-H and Natural Resources  Cooperative Extension Agent in Scioto and Henry County.
Past Ohio Realtor and Auctioneer with Ken Rase Real Estate.
Teacher for for Oliver School Adam's County, three years. Retired Ohio Public Employees.
Named a Kentucky Colonel in 1970's.
A member of the Portsmouth Kiwanis Club for over 40 years and a member of the Lucasville Kiwanis.
I am currently Commander of the Portsmouth Ohio Gibb's Battery L and Commander of the Camp Vienna Chapter of the Son's of Union Veterans of the Civil War.
My greatest achievement was to find my wife Beverly Rucker to share my life with for over 53 years.
Today I will be sharing the story of our fathers who were both heroes from World War 3.  Primarily though I will speak on the story of my father's life and his imprisonment during World War 2, captured after a 16 day battle on Wake Island in the Pacific
