Since playing their first show in 2014, For I Am have grown into one of the most well-known and active bands in the Belgian punk scene. The band’s always been a proud advocate of upbeat, powerful punk rock songs with catchy hooks and strong vocals by lead singer Hanne.

Backstory

Backstory haben sich Ende 2021 gegründet und im Frühjahr 2022 wurde bereits die EP „Early Songs“ digital veröffentlicht. Seither wurden fleißig neue Songs geschrieben, teils sehr persönlich und zum Teil beleuchten diese aber auch das Weltgeschehen in einer wirklich verrückten Zeit. Die fünf Lübecker verstehen es allerdings bei jedem Thema eingängige Melodien mit dem nötigen Druck zu kombinieren, und so das Publikum mitzureißen. Für 2026 stehen Veröffentlichungen neuer Songs und einige Konzerte an, bei denen sich jeder selbst von der Energie der Band überzeugen kann.
