The Art of Making Sushi

Come join us for a fun and interactive sushi-making class at Culinary Co-Op on Friday, October 24, 2025 at 6:30 PM!

You’ll learn the secrets behind crafting delicious sushi from scratch with step-by-step guidance from our expert instructor. Whether you’re brand new to sushi-making or looking to expand your skills, this class is approachable, hands-on, and delicious.

✨ What you’ll learn:

• How to make traditional and modern sushi styles, including nigiri, maki rolls, hand rolls, and gunkan
• Step-by-step techniques for rolling, shaping, and presentation
• Tips on shopping locally for the best ingredients

No prior experience is necessary - just bring your enthusiasm and appetite!

At the end of class, you’ll enjoy your own creations paired with complimentary roasted barley tea (mugicha), a refreshing Japanese classic. You’re also welcome to bring your own beverage of choice to enjoy with your sushi.
