We are thrilled to announce our return to the Caviel Art Gallery and Museum this September! Join us for a special First Friday Art Trail celebration as we bring back the 2nd Annual Lowrider Art Exhibit and Chicano Fashion Show.

Come celebrate custom automotive art, rich Chicano heritage, and timeless vintage style with the entire Lubbock community.

The History of "Low and Slow"
This exhibit honors the 1940s roots of lowrider culture. Born in Mexican American barrios as a creative rebellion against mainstream hot rod culture, the movement turned automobiles into powerful canvases for cultural pride and identity. We are bringing this history to life through:

 •Curated Art Showcase: Featuring works that explore the evolution of the culture.

 •Live Fashion Show: Highlighting Rockabilly, Pin-up, and Lowrider-inspired styles.

Call for Models: Show Us Your Style!
It’s never too early to start planning! Dust off those fedoras, shine up your Stacy Adams, and starch those Dickies—we want to see your best Chicano-inspired looks on the runway.

Sign up today to participate in the fashion show! All models will be entered into a raffle for exclusive prizes from Quirky Retro Boutique and Hub City Rockabilly, including a gift certificate for custom-made apparel and a loaded swag bag of goodies.
