# Event Details - **Event Name**: Art for Educators: A Professional Development Workshop with Wayne Youle - **Event Start and End Date**: Sat, 03 Oct, 2026 at 09:00 am – Sat, 03 Oct, 2026 at 03:00 pm (+13:00) - **Event Description**: An opportunity to join a workshop led by artist Wayne Youle specifically aimed at educators.About this Event“The toughest part as an artist (for me at least) is the unlocking of ideas...the starting of something, the loosening of both body and mind.”Artist Wayne Youle has decades of experience creating across a number of disciplines, and is always deeply engaged with his community through teaching workshops across multiple age groups. While his exhibition Back in Five is showing at The Dowse, teachers have the opportunity to join a workshop led by Youle specifically aimed at educators. Consisting of multiple shorter activities, the workshop will focus on ways to engage students’ creative sparks, working together on a project rather than focusing on individual ownership, emphasising the process rather than the finished piece, and breaking down any preciousness when it comes to sharing. - **Event URL**: https://allevents.in/lower-hutt/art-for-educators-a-professional-development-workshop-with-wayne-youle/100002001426602846 - **Event Categories**: fitness, Workshops, Art, Exhibitions - **Interested Audience**: - total_interested_count: 0 - **Event Highlights**: - Duration: 6 hours - Location: The Dowse Art Museum - Languages: English ## Ticket Details - **Ticket Price Range**: min: 0, max: 0, currency: NZD ## Event venue details - **city**: Lower Hutt - **state**: WG - **country**: New Zealand - **location**: The Dowse Art Museum - **lat**: -41.211751 - **long**: 174.904493 - **full address**: The Dowse Art Museum, 45 Laings Road, Lower Hutt, New Zealand ## Event gallery - **Alt text**: Art for Educators: A Professional Development Workshop with Wayne Youle - **Image URL**: https://cdn-az.allevents.in/events4/banners/edc9461e1e4ca3e6d9a9e34aeba7e3ad487ee87813bbe7a034497929f6b4b0e7-rimg-w1200-h800-dcd8c8c8-gmir.jpg?v=1790352210 ## FAQs - **Q**: When and where is Art for Educators: A Professional Development Workshop with Wayne Youle being held? - **A:** Art for Educators: A Professional Development Workshop with Wayne Youle takes place on Sat, 03 Oct, 2026 at 09:00 am to Sat, 03 Oct, 2026 at 03:00 pm at The Dowse Art Museum, 45 Laings Road, Lower Hutt, New Zealand. - **Q**: Who is organizing Art for Educators: A Professional Development Workshop with Wayne Youle? - **A:** Art for Educators: A Professional Development Workshop with Wayne Youle is organized by The Dowse Art Museum. - **Q**: Who is this event for?
