- **Event Description**: Join the WWC  for an evening with the owls. An interactive program will offer an exciting opportunity to learn about the owls that call Lowell home, their fascinating lives, their habits and the amazing adaptations that make them terrific nighttime hunters. Then we will walk the woodlands of the WWC as we try to call in the Barred Owls and Great Horned Owls while, hopefully, listening to their hoots, wails and shrieks. Whoo knows what we’ll find?  

***Please note there is no guarantee of hearing or seeing the owls as they are wild creatures and rather do as they please, but this date is very close to the breeding season, the owls should be quite active as they search for a mate.  Long underwear, boots, jackets and snow pants, hats and mittens are not overkill. “Quiet” clothes are preferable to clothes that make noise when you move.

This event is free but we encourage a $5 donation at the door.
(All money goes to support educational programs, events and materials sponsored by the WWC.)
