WinterFest Activities from 10:00am - 1:00pm
Come #OPTOUTSIDE and have some healthy, winter fun! 

*SNOWSHOEING… all day if snow permits! ($5/pair rental)
*TRAIL GAMES & SCAVENTER HUNTS!
*ARCHERY 
*WINTER BIRD & SNOWFLAKE CRAFTS & PROJECTS
*ARCHERY— a FUN challenge at the WWC
*BURLAP EMBROIDERY ART
*ICE CANDLE DEMONSTRATION—weather permitting
*NEW:  NATURALIST LED HIKES:  10:00 Beginning Orienteering OR Mindfulness Hike, 11:00 Winter Tree ID  OR  Tracks & Signs of Animals in Winter, 12:00 Leave No Trace Hiking Essentials.  Each hike is about an hour long and 1-1.5 miles in length.

1:30 - 3:00pm - LIVE BIRDS OF PREY!
A wildlife presentation by the Oudoor Discovery Center in Holland.  Come meet a few of tHE ODC's wildlife ambassadors in person.  COST:  $3/person.

WINTER WAGGLE 5K CHALLENGE:
Snowshoe, ski, hike, walk or WAGGLE your 5K!  You pick the pace and place as long as it’s outside.  Complete your race  challenge any time during the month of February. 
 
Cost:  $15/person or $30/family up to 4 people.
Register anytime during WinterFest or email Courtney at ccheers@lowellschools.com

Once you have registered, you will receive your snowflake medal. Plus, all participants receive FREE Snowshoeing for the month of February!  Just show us your medal. 
  
NEW THIS YEAR - FREE, Naturalists led hikes the day of WinterFest - Feb 7.  Join in on our WinterFest hikes and get a jump start on your 5K! Our CHALLENGE to you is to get outside, be active, and ENJOY winter!   This is an honor system event.
