The WWC is the home of Lowell School’s outdoor classroom. We are offering a small group nature study series to HOME SCHOOL & ONLINE STUDENTS. Our programs will guide students toward an awareness and appreciation of our natural world using hands on activities, nature hikes, environmental stewardship, and nature journaling. These programs compliment grade level science curriculum objectives and focus on specific ecological concepts.
Where: Wittenbach Wege Center (WWC).
When: Friday, February 27, 2026
Cost: ALL Students—$10 per class. Cash or check only. Payment due at beginning of each class.
Topic: Exploring Wonderous Whitetail Deer! Students will explore deer adaptations for survival, deer diets, how scientists estimate deer populations, and make a deer track story.
Students will be divided by grade level into 2 groups. Each group will be limited to 12 students.
Grades 1 through 3—12 spots AND Grades 4 through 7—12 spots
Please bring your own snack and lunch.
An adult chaperone would be greatly appreciated for each class.
