Tuottaja-rumpali Teppo "Teddy Rok" Mäkysen studio-alias The Stance Brothers lukeutuu monesta yhteydestä tunnetun, arvostetun tekijän rakastetuimpiin projekteihin. Vuonna 2007 debyyttialbuminsa Kind Soul (Ricky-Tick Records) julkaissut ja viime vuosina rapsakoiden vinyylisinglejen julkaisuun keskittynyt The Stance Brothers teki hartaasti odotetun paluun kokopitkän levyn formaattiin kun We Jazz Records julkaisi 2023 albumin Duktus. Sen myötä Mäkynen esitteli uuden The Stance Brothers -kokoonpanon johon kuuluvat hänen lisäkseen kosketinsoittaja Ilari Mäkelä ja basisti Tapio Backlund.
