Calling all Belvidere Women! I'm thrilled to announce the 2nd Annual MEET & GREET EVENT of A Girl & A Gun Rockford IL is coming up on Saturday, January 17th from 2PM-5PM and I want to invite YOU!
Whether you've heard about our organization before or it's your first time finding our group, we want to INVITE YOU. Swing by with a friend (or two) to check out how we run our monthly meetings, learn more about what A Girl and A Gun is, and come tour our fabulous host range - Leo's Guns and Range that supports women and our self-defense training goals 3x per month! This is an OPEN-HOUSE style event which allows you to stop in anytime between 2PM - 5PM to meet the Chapter Facilitator/Firearms Instructor, our Rockford team of ladies, meet the range partners, and more! We will have laser SIRT pistols available to teach proper grip/form to get you started I will also have our 2026 Chapter Schedule, handouts, and an ability to join our chapter day-of if you're ready to dive in!
What is A Girl & A Gun? It's a national organization across the US that is a women's-only club established by women shooters for women pistol, rifle, and shotgun shooters! The organization is designed to take beginners to whatever skill level they wish to achieve and provide experienced shooters with more opportunities. The objective of some is to improve their skill levels for self-defense and competitive shooting. Others also are interested in learning how to choose the right guns, gear, and accessories for long-term, and others are seeking participation and friendship within the community.
