Course Description: Total cost of class 150.00 This course fulfills the 16-hour training requirement for the State of Illinois Concealed Carry license application. We will cover essential information about safe gun handling and practices for day-to-day carrying of a firearm. Topics will be covered in the classroom and on a live-fire range. At the end of the course, you will receive a certificate of completion, which is required to obtain your concealed carry license. 

Topics including:
– Firearm Safety
– Principals of Marksmanship- stance, grip, sight alignment, trigger control
-Storage
– Maintenance and Function of a Typical Handgun
– Laws regarding use of force, uuw, prohibited places and 
Responsibilities of a CCW and foid card holder
– Range Time Instruction for shooting qualification can be scheduled prior to class at no extra cost-free professional lesson. 
– Range Qualification 10 Rounds  at 5, 7 and 10. 21 rounds on Target to pass the qualification 

Required Equipment:
– Handgun in good working order
30 rounds of target ammunition ( to be left in your vehicle during the classroom portions) 
Eye and Ear protection.  

–- Rental Guns are available for $20.00 includes 30 rounds of ammo 

We will break for lunch.
