Get muddy, learn the basics, glaze your work, and take home up to 6 finished pieces.About this EventWelcome to six weeks of clay-covered hands, spinning wheels, and creative fun at Loopy Dough. This course is designed for beginners and returning students who want to slow down, get a little messy, and build real skills on the pottery wheel—no experience needed. All materials are included (clay, tools, firings, and glazes). Just bring yourself and an apron if you’d like one.We meet once a week for 2 hours, with each week building on the last:Week 1: Studio intro, clay prep, and wheel demo—meet the wheel and make your first formsWeek 2: More wheel time! Practice, repetition, and getting comfy throwingWeek 3: Trimming day—clean up your pieces and refine your shapesWeek 4: Back to throwing with more intention and confidenceWeek 5: Final trimming and finishing touches before firingWeek 6: Glaze day! Choose from Loopy Dough’s full glaze library and bring your pieces to lifeStudents may keep up to 6 finished pieces, all fired and glazed by the studio.$10 for each extra piece beyond #6. A quick note on the process: pottery has a mind of its own. While we guide you every step of the way, firing ceramics comes with some natural risk, and occasional cracks, warping, or breakage can happen. It’s all part of the magic (and mystery) of clay. This is a small-group, encouraging, judgment-free space focused on learning, experimenting, and enjoying the process—not perfection.Come ready to play, learn, and fall a little in love with the wheel 💛🌀 - **Event URL**: https://allevents.in/louisville/wednesday-beginner-pottery-class-6-weeks/100001998240195215 - **Event Categories**: workshops - **Interested Audience**: - total_interested_count: 0 - **Event Highlights**: - Age Limit: 18+ - Duration: 2 hours - Location: 4601 Jennings Ln - Languages: English ## Ticket Details - **Ticket Price Range**: min: 426.12, max: 426.12, currency: USD ## Event venue details - **city**: Louisville - **state**: KY - **country**: United States - **location**: 4601 Jennings Ln - **lat**: 38.1890457 - **long**: -85.6844919 - **full address**: 4601 Jennings Ln, 4601 Jennings Lane, Louisville, United States ## Event gallery - **Alt text**: Wednesday Beginner Pottery Class (6 weeks) - **Image URL**: https://cdn-az.allevents.in/events3/banners/fcc3fc921537181759b5456845385edc242a00cf357ce4167d7dd937ea644899-rimg-w1200-h2609-dc080808-gmir.jpg?v=1787065663 ## FAQs - **Q**: When and where is Wednesday Beginner Pottery Class (6 weeks) being held? - **A:** Wednesday Beginner Pottery Class (6 weeks) takes place on Wed, 07 Oct, 2026 at 06:00 pm to Wed, 11 Nov, 2026 at 08:00 pm at 4601 Jennings Ln, 4601 Jennings Lane, Louisville, United States. - **Q**: Who is organizing Wednesday Beginner Pottery Class (6 weeks)? - **A:** Wednesday Beginner Pottery Class (6 weeks) is organized by Loopy Dough Studio. - **Q**: Who is this event for?
