Sip and Slay Social: The Politics of Nappy, Straight & Curly Hair

Sip and Slay ... it's the third part of our Beauty and Style trilogy.

Come join the Sip and Slay Crew and special guest, on March 24th, to sip on Bellinis and mingle with new and old friends. We will continue to empower each other and move further into our panel discussion, along with a workshop. This time covering Black Hair. We are calling it Hair Stories: The politics of the Nappy, Straight and Curly, because we all have a story to tell. Let's talk about stereotypes, challenge self-segregation, educate and empower one another to shine.

We will have natural hair stylists featured who will answer questions and give great tips on healthy hair, no matter how you wear it.

The Sip & Slay Social will also include:

a moderated open discussion

fun games, gift bags

hair workshop

hors d' ouevres

2 Glasses of Bellini

*additional glass is $2 per glass

Please be sure you will be able to attend on the date of the event. We have a strict NO REFUND policy. However, tickets may be transferred.

Hosted by The Artsy Institute

*Please bring your paper or digital Eventbrite ticket to the event.
