About the event

Kentucky Book Festival: Louisville Edition

For 43 years, the Kentucky Book Festival (KBF) has been the largest and longest-running literary celebration in the Commonwealth, bringing thousands of readers and authors together. Our 2024 event festival featured over 150 authors and illustrators and welcomed 5,000 visitors to enjoy expanded programming across five stages.

We will bring a Louisville Edition of the Kentucky Book Festival to Paristown this summer! Modeled on the foundations of our flagship event in Lexington in November, it will be free and open to the public to attend, will cover multiple genres (30-40 authors), and will have programming spearheaded by regional and national talent.
