This workshop will help the clinician recognize anxiety disorders in clients and to develop treatment strategies to target and moderate the symptoms that are impacting the client’s quality of life. Information will be provided regarding the parts of the brain that cause anxiety and offer evidence-based treatment strategies including CBT, and strategies to relax and engage the parasympathetic nervous system.
