This year, we’re honoring the 152nd running of the Kentucky Derby with our theme 'Festival on the Move: Ticket to Ride'. Whether you’re watching from the stands or racing with your team, this event promises loads of fun.

The action-packed event will take place on Monday, April 27, 2026. Get ready for a day filled with excitement:
1:00 PM: Tailgate Party Starts
6:00 PM: Parade of the Beds
7:00 PM: Races Begin

Admission is free with a 2026 Pegasus Pin®, and there’s a $12 KEC Parking fee.

You’ll be competing for more than just speed – awards include Fastest Course Times (in two divisions: champions & fun), Best Decorated, Most Entertaining, and the infamous Cone Eater Award.
