Instructor Bio: Marielle Hug is a singing yogi with versatile teaching and performing experience. Marielle discovered Yoga as a powerful tool to connect mind, body, and soul during the global pandemic in 2020. With over 15 years of classical voice training, she is a multifaceted musician and music teacher, and she strives to connect yoga with live music. As a singing yogi, Marielle incorporates soothing sound healing and yoga philosophy in her classes. Her teaching style is compassionate and breath-focused. She believes in creating safe spaces for her yoga practitioners to be curious and mindful. Hug received her BM in Voice and BME in Choral Teaching from the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University in 2020. She recently completed her master's degree in Voice and her Reiki Master training in Bloomington, IN. Marielle completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training twice at Kootenay Yoga School in Isla Mujeres, Mexico. Marielle completed additional Yin training in 2025 with Cindy Lunsford.
