Join us on May 31st, 2025, as we celebrate the 56th wedding anniversary of Ray and Phyllis Sammons with a Memorial Trail Ride at Yatesville Lake. This special ride honors their love for each other, their family, and their lifelong passions.

Ray and Phyllis were not just partners in life, but also partners in their love for horses, farming, and the 4-H community. They dedicated much of their lives to raising horses, farming the land, and nurturing the next generation through 4-H programs. Their love for the animals, the land, and the people in their lives was evident in everything they did.

They believed in hard work, kindness, and the importance of family, values they instilled in everyone they met. Ray’s dedication to farming and Phyllis’s nurturing spirit were the perfect balance that made their marriage and their life together so special. Together, they spent countless hours riding horses, teaching 4-H youth, and working the farm.

At 3:00 PM, we will meet at Yatesville Lake for the trail ride to honor their legacy. Following the ride, we’ll gather for a cookout, sharing memories and celebrating their love for life, horses, 4-H, and each other.
