Hearth Cooking Workshop - The Flavors of Fall

Have you ever cooked a meal over a fire at an open hearth? Come experience the enjoyment of hearth-cooking and taste the delicious fruits of your labor! Receive basic instruction in preparation and cooking in our 18th-century Michie House hearth. Participants gather at the end to enjoy a group meal!
These monthly cooking lessons with the Louisa Hearth Cooking Guild provide hands-on experience with traditional cooking methods, tools, and recipes. These cooking lessons with the Louisa Hearth Guild are for ages 18 and older.
Revenues from tickets benefit the operations of the Louisa County Historical Society.
Registration fee is $60 per person (18 years or older).
