Guided by Namrata Narendra, Val Volpi, and Pegah Aftabi, participants will work in small thematic groups through two rounds, first setting out contexts and concepts through a collaging exercise built around prompts on urban inequality, problematic terminology, and what a more just urban future depends on, and then debating and drafting manifestos together. The session will close with groups reviewing each other's outputs. These creative productions form the basis for a set of written manifesto principles that participating teams will develop over the following two months, ahead of a follow-up session in November 2026, before getting published in an open-access journal.Featuring IAS Visiting Fellows -, Independent Researcher and ArtistArrivals from 8:45 am for a 9:00 am start.Martin Hall can be found here on the campus map.
