Turn wool into a spring flower you can wear
Join me for a gentle, hands-on workshop where you’ll learn how to transform soft wool fibres into a beautiful felted daffodil. Working step by step, you’ll explore the basics of wet felting and discover how a flat layout can be shaped into a three-dimensional flower.
Your finished daffodil can be worn as a brooch or kept as a small sculptural piece. A brooch pin and all materials are provided — you simply come ready to make.
In this 3-hour workshop, you will learn:
This session is suitable for beginners and those curious to deepen their understanding of feltmaking. The pace is relaxed, with plenty of guidance and space to enjoy the process.
Practical details:
The workshop takes place at Charnwood Museum, set within a picturesque park. There is a café on site serving lunches and refreshments, and a paid car park conveniently located next to the park.
Come and spend a few creative hours making, learning, and enjoying the quiet joy of working with wool — and leave with a daffodil that will never fade. 🌼
On arrival report to the reception of the museum and they will take you to the workshop room.
I am looking forward to get creative with you.
Nadia
