Join us for a relaxed zine-making workshop where you will be invited to reflect on these themes using collage and mixed media. ‘Zines’ (short for magazines) are DIY publications that give the maker freedom to express whatever they like. During this session you can expect to learn more about zines, their history, and to make your very own to take away with you.This workshop is beginner-friendly and all materials are provided.There is a suggested ticket price of £3 to cover the cost of materials, with a 'Pay What You Can' option.About Create & ConnectCreate and Connect is a series of monthly creative workshops open to all students, taking place in the Library on the second Tuesday of the month. Each session is a one-off and must be booked in advance. They are a chance to meet new people, learn new skills and make something to take away.AccessibilityThere is step free access into the building and Seminar Room One is located on the entry level floor. There are accessible toilets nearby.If you have any specific access requirements or anything you would like us to be aware of, please let us know via the booking form or email LUArts@lboro.ac.uk in advance of booking and we will do our best to accommodate them.PhotographyPhotography will be taking place at this event. If you do not consent to your photo being taken and this being used by Loughborough University and/or LU Arts for publicity purposes, then please alert the photographer or event organiser on the day.Please note that Eventbrite processes data (including any personal data you may submit during your booking) outside of the European Economic Area.
