Brother Shannon Sizemore will be teaching Lesson 19 CROSSROADS.

Lamentations 3:40 tells us, let us examine our ways and test them, and let us return to the Lord. In principle 7, we commit to a daily quiet time with God for self-examination, Bible reading, and prayer, seeking to understand God's will and gain the strength to follow it. We have arrived at the CROSSROADS of our Recovery. We should express gratitude to God for guiding us thus far on our journey to Recovery and praise Him for the victories we have achieved over our hurts, hang-ups, and habits. Nevertheless, it is crucial to continue working the last two principles with the same devotion and enthusiasm that brought us to this point in our recovery. The first part of Principle Seven involves reserving a daily quiet time with God for self-examination, which corresponds to step 10 of the Christ-centered 12 steps.

Step 10: We continued to take personal inventory and, when we were wrong, promptly admitted it.
