- **Event Description**: Join us for Beating the Bounds of St. James Parish on May 13th, 2026 at 6pm. "Beating the Bounds" is when the clergy and parishioners historically walked the property boundaries of the church in the days leading up to Ascension Day. 

This parish event will be hosted by the new Footsteps in Faith ministry. We will start with a walk along the parameter of the 52 acres of parish grounds. Where we will pray for the South County agricultural community.  Finishing with refreshments; hot dog & nacho bar, desserts and beverages at Ticknor Hall.

The Footsteps in Faith ministry will introduce their Bible Milestone Challenge - Journey Through Scripture booklet and upcoming group walks and hikes.
