Estero Bay CERT is offering an Amateur Radio License Class in November!

Are you interested in serving your community or communicating with people around the world? How about technical experimenting or talking with astronauts on board the International Space Station? If so, you are welcome to join a group of about 750,000 diverse individuals in the United States who make up amateur radio. To become an amateur radio operator, or ham, you must pass a written test, apply to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) for a license, and pay a nominal license fee. The Estero Bay CERT program is offering an amateur radio license class, where you can attend this one-day class and earn your Amateur Radio License. This preparation class will provide you with all the information you need to know to pass the FCC examination and receive a radio call sign.
