Caldera de Taburiente Visitor Center: Visit to learn about the formation of the Caldera and the 2021 eruption.
Hiking Route – Tajogaite Volcano:
• Distance: 6.5 km
• Duration: approx. 3 hours
• Elevation: +20 m / –630 m
This route passes through lava flows and ash fields, offering a close-up view of the newly formed volcanic landscape.
Important Information:
Participants must be in good physical condition.
Recommended gear: comfortable hiking clothes, proper footwear, sun protection, sunglasses, and a cap.
