Time to leap into the Swan Lake and dance the night away… ✨✨ Amalgamy Amalgamy is the music project of Bulgarian born musician Lubomir Smilenov. Born in Sofia and raised in New York City, Lubomir spent most of his life in NYC before moving to Los Angeles this year. His music draws from his Bulgarian roots, years in New York, and a long interest in traditional music from different parts of the world.Over the years, Lubomir has performed at Ragas Live Festival at Pioneer Works in Brooklyn, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Golden Fest, Nublu, and Drom, among other venues and events around New York.For his performance at The Zula Den, Amalgamy will explore what happens when instruments separated by geography and tradition find themselves sharing the same musical space.✨ ITAI 🎷🎹 Saxophonist and live-electronic artist; founder of The Residency.
