Each event is based on a different theme that corresponds with the season.This December join us for Grief Choir, a time to hold space for each other during times of loss as we prepare for the coming winter. Held near the day of the winter solstice, this mourning ritual is both a time to sit with the darkness of our grief and the growing light of the community with whom it is shared.No previous musical experience is necessary to participate in Grief Choir. The event lasts approximate one hour and includes the following structure:A WelcomeAn Attunement - an initial improvised group singThe Frame - a poetic exploration of the gathering's themeA Ritual of InterconnectionThe Grief SongA Final ReflectionThe Helios Series is a donation based event and is organized around non-performative, communal music-making and guided meditation, no experience required. The event is co-led by Resonance Collective artistic director Fahad Siadat and Interfaith Minister and Psychotherapist Rev.
