Each gathering is designed to support grounding, regulation, and reconnection—with self, others, and the earth. Jayde Barber is a multidisciplinary practitioner working at the intersection of yoga, mental health, education, and visual storytelling. With a background in mental health, peer support, and social work—particularly alongside homeless and underserved youth at Youth Moving On—Jayde’s work centers nervous system regulation, emotional resilience, and making restorative and healing tools more accessible to communities that have historically had limited access to them.Jayde has been practicing yoga since the age of eight, first turning to mindful movement as a way to manage severe anxiety and panic. That lived experience continues to shape her approach to teaching: grounded, trauma-informed, and focused on using embodied practices to calm the nervous system and support collective well-being.
