What does real history reveal about origins of these unusual stories at these spooky sites? This is the perfect tour for historical buffs and haunted history enthusiasts alike!This is an entirely walking tour, the entire circuit is about 3 miles that will take us from the Los Angeles Plaza up to the old Cemetery Ravine – near Chavez Ravine, just down the hill from Dodger Stadium – and back.---We will be meeting next to the gift shop called “La Tienda,” located at 501 N. Main St, Los Angeles, CA 90012, as our first site to explore is located just steps away next to the Placita church. We will start checking in participant to start our walking tour promptly; please plan to arrive 15-minutes before our start time.PUBLIC TRANSIT: We recommend that people come by public transit. You can take any one of the major Metro Rail trains and MTA buses to Union Station. Our meeting spot is just two blocks away from Union Station, near the Plaza de Los Angeles State Park – Olvera Street, near the front outside entrance of the Plaza de Cultura y Artes near the outside sign for the bookstore called "La Tienda."PARKING: Ample parking is available in public lots in the surrounding area of the Plaza. Parking rates vary. La Plaza de Cultura y Artes' parking lot is located at the lot located at Arcadia and Spring Streets at 171 Arcadia Street, entrance on Arcadia. L.A. County Parking Lot 15 is located at 527 N. Spring Street at Avenida Cesar Chavez, entrance on Spring. Main Street parking is strictly prohibited. Union Station also has all-day parking available; though it is limited.The total walking distance is just shy of 3 miles round trip, walking at an easy pace, though we do have stairs at one point in our hike and a significant incline at another location to get near the base of Dodger Stadium; it is important that everyone signing up for this tour be able to walk long distances and stand for extended periods of time. An average tour tends to take about 3 hours.
