He was a master of crafting not only his own unique worlds, but his own unique realities – inhabited by characters sprung from his singular imagination, characters who could only exist in the Lynchverse. Vanessa Rae Robinson, immediately pushed the idea of a DJ night out of her mind. She loves a good party, but wanted to gift a different kind of experience.Vanessa Rae caught an idea she loved on a beautiful day and rolled with it: a Twin Peaks night, featuring a Julee Cruise tribute band, something she’d always wanted to do, but had never pushed herself to pursue.To form I CANT HEAR CASSANDRA and the Nightingales, she brought in her favorite LA musicians, all of whom share her love and reverence for David Lynch: former bandmate Delano Duran (Warfield, Sacred Skin), Gregg Foreman (Cat Power, Warfield, Lydia Lunch), Margot Rhodes (Mirrors of Venus, Madeline Goldstein),  and Alex Lasner (Day Wave).
