Mystic Crossroads: Battle of the Fates is an all new tarot-based, die-rolling, fortune-telling, roleplaying adventure of clashing destinies where one player is the Traveler & the other players are the Fates, who must attempt to shape the Traveler's journey!The elements of the game include a 78-card, folk-art tarot deck, 12 Fate Objective cards, 6 six-sided dice (2 standard, 4 "mystic" — marked with runes & planetary symbols), a hero's journey tarot spread & 30 scoring tokens.HOW TO PLAYOne player becomes the Traveler, imagining a life path or quest they’ve never taken. The others become the Fates, using tarot cards & intuition to influence how the Traveler's story unfolds.The Traveler chooses a Call to Adventure & then moves through a series of mythic moments inspired by the Hero’s Journey: crossing a threshold, facing trials, finding allies, meeting an adversary & discovering what is gained in the end.At each step, the Fates present tarot cards as possible paths forward. The Traveler determines what feels true, while rolls of the dice introduce chance & surprise... because fate is never fully in control.No tarot experience is necessary.
