Info: CII's Community Relations team will start off the meeting by sharing information about the organization and housekeeping rules. Attendees are welcome to share any group agreements, which are guidelines that establish shared expectations for respectful, inclusive, and productive interactions within a group.
Info: Frank D. Lanterman Regional Center is a private, non-profit corporation that operates under contract with California’s Department of Developmental Services. The Center serves over 9,000 children and adults with developmental disabilities, who have or are at risk for a developmental delay or disability, and who are at high-risk of parenting an infant with a disability.
Info: Our team of Mental Health Promoters empowers parents and caregivers of young children to heal together. We help communities break down the stigma around
mental health and eliminate barriers to accessing resources that support your children’s social emotional health. How do we help? Social Support: We link you to wellness resources, programs and services at Children’s Institute or other organizations in your
community. Education: We provide education and activities around community healing such as: yoga, dancing, drum circle workshops, and more. Community Capacity Building: We’ll bring together Youth and Community Advisory Groups to make an impact in the programs
that support your community.
Info: Children's Institute representatives from Wellness programs will share about upcoming events. We also invite community members and partners to share about upcoming events.
Info: Open discussion space for community members to share about any services or programs they'd like to see more of, or simply a space for moments that feel heavy.
Info: Community members who attend will be given a raffle ticket.
