That's why we're so grateful to be partnering with JD Sports this year to offer these workshops at ZERO cost to participants, as well as some fun freebies and goodies provided by other local baddies running their own show in their industry!While this workshop is free for all participants, we'd like to prioritize entry for our women & femmes -- especially those who come from our most underserved demographics & neighborhoods in Los Angeles. If you know a woman who would benefit from a relaxing afternoon workshop in our beautiful backyard greenhouse, surrounded by plants and flowers and creativity, please send this their way!? BOOTQUET WORKSHOP by This is one of our most popular workshops, and it's perfect for beginners! Everyone will receive a handmade ceramic cowboy boot vase to paint & personalize however they like, and then create their own custom fresh flower arrangement inside. Latinx with Plants founder and owner Andi Xoch will cover a few different painting techniques, as well as the basic elements of creating a floral arrangement, and we'll be there the whole time to encourage your creative vision & lead you through the process.FIRST CLASS: 11:00 AM - 1:00 PMSECOND CLASS: 2:00 PM - 4:00 PMOur entire team speaks Spanish, so if you need instructions in Spanish, just let us know and we got you!?LIVE SCREEN PRINTING by Ni Santas, an all women-of-color art collective based in LA, will be screen printing a custom tote bag design on-site! You'll be able to witness & learn about the process of screen printing, and will take home a free, freshly-printed tote bag, designed by Latinx with Plants in collaboration with JD Sports.? Space is limited, so please RSVP before the event date! Please note that we cannot offer returns on our event tickets, only transfers, so please make sure you're 100% able to attend before RSVP'ing.?This workshop will be held outdoors in our backyard greenhouse, which is covered from the sun but can be warm on a hot day. We encourage all guests to bring reusable water bottles to stay cool & hydrated -- we'll have some water on-site to refill if needed.? Our backyard is somewhat ADA accessible, with a ramp leading out to the back, but the majority of the backyard is paved with gravel, which can be hard for some folks to navigate.
