Drawing upon a wealth of styles from Black American Music such as Hip Hop and Jazz, as well as West African, Latin and Calypso marked from his Grenadian and Mexican/Indigenous heritage. Aaron immerses listeners into the emergent and ever-colorful world of Stretch Music: a style that embraces within it rhythmic and harmonic frameworks as many musical forms and cultural languages as possible. Born in Texas, and raised by immigrants, Aaron's experience with sound was drawn from a reflecting pool of Caribbean proverbs, queer identity crisis, and Mexican yearning translated into a distinct, self-taught style of Trombone playing that has landed him recording and performing everywhere, from his friend's projects in college dorms to The Superbowl LX Halftime Show.Disciplined on Trombone, molded by family, and destroyed by music school, Aaron offers his new, unrecorded original work as his best offering of synthesis and self-expression.
