Apricot STEM Fair

Celebrate the region’s agricultural heritage and explore the innovation of Silicon Valley at the Apricot STEM Fair, hosted by Los Altos History Museum. This hands-on, family-friendly event blends history, innovation, and nature through a variety of engaging activities designed for all ages.

Event Highlights:

Extract DNA from apricots�
Use a Foldscope to explore the microscopic world�
Pedal a bike to power a blender (GreenTown Los Altos)�
Watch live robotics demos from local high schoolers
Tackle orchard-inspired STEM challenges�
Meet author Lisa Prince Newman and get a signed copy of For the Love of Apricots�

Earn an apricot-themed prize by completing a kid-friendly challenge (while supplies last)�
